What are you going to do
The Forwarding Agent is the key contact between airline, forwarders and control tower.
· Arranging and handling air freight shipments and all related work.
· Declaration of goods after customs control.
· You communicate with customers, foreign agents, airlines, transport companies.
· You issue shipping documents where necessary.
· You solve problems and assist where necessary to guarantee a continuous flow of
shipments between origin and destination.
Who are we looking for
· Education at MBO level.
· You have airfreight experience.
· Knowledge of forwarding and legal requirements is a plus.
· You are willing to work shifts (including weekends/nights and public holidays).
· You can multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
· A good knowledge of the Dutch and English language in words and writing.
· You are accurate and detail oriented.
· You have good communication skills and a professional, customer-oriented attitude
· You have good MS Office skills.
